The soft look and feel and will add warmth and substance to any any room in your home. Our shag rugs, which are woven with a cotton base, feature a shag pile up to 2 ¼" in height. Make sure you select a shag rug with a pile of over 2 inches if you want a truly warm, soft feeling under foot. The higher the pile is, the softer and more luxurious the rug. With our long shag rug, your feet will know a new kind of comfort.

For everyday cleaning simply shake the rug to remove loose dirt and fluff the pile. You should go over your carpet regularly using an upright vacuum cleaner that has beater-bar action (but no teeth or combs). Professional cleaning is recommended for deep cleaning of shag area rugs. We also recommend use of a non-slip rug pad to prevent movement on smooth floors.
